Previously, due to some other reasons, Qualcomm and Apple cut off cooperation. But with the gradual easing of the relationship, the two sides have resumed cooperation. Cristiano Amon also said that since Qualcomm and Apple started cooperation again relatively late, they are currently working hard to speed up the process to ensure that the 5G iPhone project can be successfully completed.

According to Apple's past practice, the new mobile phones launched each year will use the latest A-series processors. The new iPhones in 2020 are expected to be equipped with Apple A14 chips. The new iPhone will be equipped with the latest processor and also need to support 5G networks. It may be a combination of A14 chip and Snapdragon X55 baseband.
In addition, Qualcomm did not disclose more information about the new iPhone, but we can guess from his words that both Qualcomm and Apple are hurrying to complete their goals as quickly as possible, and that the 5G iPhone will likely be launched in 2020.
